Rakesh Shah, President

Rakesh Shah is the founder and managing partner of RS Computer Associates, LLC. His Information Technology career began during college working for EDS. Mr. Shah’s career in Imaging began in 1992 developing imaging and OCR solutions for claims and credit card processing. Mr. Shah earned his MBA while working to establish RSCA.

Over the years, Rakesh has filled many technical and managerial roles including developer, designer, system architect and project manager supporting prestigious companies such as Blue Shield of California, Delta Dental Plan of California, GMAC, Hewlett Packard and Agilent Technologies.

Rakesh is an expert in ECM technologies including document imaging, content management, process management, optical character recognition, data conversion and migration. Rakesh is an accomplished presenter and past president of hte golden Gate Chapter of AIIM. Rakesh is also a willing karaoke participant and cartoon character impersonator.

Mike Ciccarelli, Vice President

Mr. Ciccarelli is Vice President of RS Computer Associates, LLC and a principle partner. After graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, he began his career as an Industrial Engineer conducting productivity improvement studies for the Air Force Logistics Command. He then joined a consulting team at EDS specializing in hte health and insurance business sectors. Mike left EDS to reduce personal travel and then worked as a Project Director for Deltanet and as Director of Client Support for Caspian Consulting Group. Mike completed his MBA shortly after joining RSCA.

During the course of his professional career, Mike has developed experience in many aspects of Information Technology. His work in conducting reengineering studies not only resulted in saving customers millions of dollars, but also provided the opportunity to design and implement technology solutions that meet business needs. Leading the Y2K effort for a 3000 node network with hundreds of applications provides a base understanding of infrastructure that today helps Mike to understand how ECM solutions fit customer environments. Mike’s experience with ECM technologies spans every position that he has held. He has implemented three enterprise solutions and many enhancement projects using ECM technologies.

Mike is an accomplished presenter and has been active in AIIM (the ECM Association), NIRMA (Nuclear Information Records Management Association, and ARMA (American Records Management Association). Outside of technology Mike is an amateur home re-modeler and stock car road racer.

Randy Linden, Director of Client Services

Mr. Linden is Director of Client Services for RS Computer Associates, LLC. After his degree award in Business Management, Mr. Linden’s professional career began managing a 10,000 node network operations center for a service provider supporting Savings and Loan companies. Randy continued his 25 year IT service management career supporting Delta Dental insurance companies and CalSTRS - the third largest retirement system in the United States. During the course of his career, Mr. Linden continued his studies and attained his MBA with concentration in Product Development.

Randy’s entire career has centered on the interactions between providing IT services and the user community. He has managed service centers, created and implemented service level agreements, and designed the business processes necessary to support them. Randy holds ITIL (Information Technology Ingrastructure Library) Service Management certifications. He has over 11 years experience insuring his customer’s document management and workflow systems are operationally available.

Mr. Linden’s job is to ensure that RSCA’s excellence in service delivery continues, as well as continuous process improvement. He is an accomplished project manager, business analyst, and process analyst. Randy is an active member of, and accomplished speaker for, itSMF (IT Service Management Forum). Outside of work, Randy supports the Boy Scouts of America as the Scoutmaster for his local troop. He is also an avid outdoorsman.
